Real pricing. Zero sales runaround.
Getting a commercial security quote should take five minutes and leave you with numbers you can put side by side. Here is exactly what happens after you fill in the form, who prices your building, and how we check them first.
- 01
Tell us about the building
Five minutes, one form: what you need (alarms, cameras, access control, monitoring, fire), your industry, rough square footage, and your timeline. We ask about the building before we ask for your contact details, because that is the order that respects your time. The more specific you are, the more accurate the pricing comes back.
- 02
Your scope goes to the right contractors
Licensed in your state, insured, and experienced with your building type. A small number of firms who actually want the work, not a call list and not whoever paid the most. You will know exactly who they are before anyone calls you.
- 03
Compare the numbers and decide
Every quote request captures the same scope details, so the pricing comes back comparable line for line: doors, cameras, monitoring rate, term length, and who owns the equipment at the end. No obligation and no fee, whichever way you go. If none of the numbers make sense, tell us why and we will fix the next round.
How we check a contractor before they quote your building
This is the actual checklist our team runs. We publish it because a vetting process you cannot see is just marketing.
State license lookup
We verify each contractor's alarm or low-voltage license against the relevant state board: California's BSIS, the Texas DPS Private Security Bureau, or your state's equivalent. Licensing is the floor, not a feature, and we will show you how to check it yourself.
Certificate of insurance on file
General liability coverage, confirmed by certificate rather than by the contractor saying so on the phone.
Review and complaint history
We scan public review history and complaint records for patterns, not one-off grudges.
Ongoing accountability
If a contractor goes quiet on you or quotes something wildly off-scope, tell us. Firms that generate complaints leave the network.
Built by people who sat on both sides of the quote table
Commercial Security Pros was founded in 2019 by a former commercial facilities director and a veteran of the low-voltage integration industry. Between them they had bought commercial security systems and sold them, and they were done pretending the process was fine.
We are a team of about a dozen, based in Denver and working distributed, on one problem: making commercial security pricing legible before you sign a five-year agreement. If something goes sideways with a quote, support is staffed by humans who can actually fix it.
What we do, and how we get paid
We are an independent commercial security firm. We do not install, monitor, or service systems ourselves and we do not sell or mark up equipment. What we do is scope your project, check the contractors, and put accurate pricing in front of you. We work on commercial and institutional buildings only, never residential.
Our service is free for businesses requesting quotes and always will be. The security contractors in our network pay us for the introductions we send them. That is the whole model.
It means our incentive is to send contractors work they can actually win, which only happens when the fit is right, and it means we have no reason to push you toward any particular quote. We do not accept payment to influence who prices your building.
