TCPA Consent

1. The language you agreed to

This is the consent text as it appears on the quote form, reproduced word for word:

I agree that Commercial Security Pros and up to three security contractors may contact me by phone, text, or email, including using autodialed or prerecorded technology, about my security project at the email address and any phone number I provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply.

The box is unchecked by default. You have to check it yourself; nothing on this site pre-selects it, and submitting the form without it is not possible.

2. What consent is not

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to agree to automated calls or texts in order to buy anything, and no contractor may make it a condition of quoting your building.

If you would rather not be called, you can still get quotes. Leave the phone field blank, which is optional, and the contractors will reach you by email instead. You will still need to check the consent box, because it covers email contact too, but with no phone number on file there is nothing to call.

3. Who may contact you

Commercial Security Pros and up to three security contractors selected for your project. We cap it at three deliberately: the point of the service is comparable quotes, not a phone that will not stop ringing.

Every contractor who receives your request is licensed in your state and carries current general liability insurance. We tell you who they are. We do not resell your request to lead aggregators, and it does not enter a broader marketing list.

4. What we record

When you check the box and submit, we store a consent record containing:

• The fact that you checked the box.
• The exact consent language in force at that moment: the text in section 1, versioned, so a later edit to the wording cannot be applied retroactively to a consent you already gave.
• The date and time, to the second.
• The IP address the request came from.
• The page of this site you submitted from.
• The email address and, if you gave one, the phone number.

We keep this record for five years. That is not for marketing. It is the evidence that the contact you receive was authorized, which protects you as much as it protects us. See our Privacy Policy for retention detail.

5. Revoking consent

You can revoke consent at any time, by any reasonable means, and it takes effect immediately. Any of the following works:

• Text: reply STOP to any text message you receive.
• Phone: tell the caller to put you on their internal do-not-call list. They are required to honor it.
• Email: use the unsubscribe link, or write to privacy@commercialsecurityquotes.com.
• All at once: email privacy@commercialsecurityquotes.com and ask us to revoke consent entirely. We will stop contacting you and notify the contractors who received your request to do the same.

Revoking consent with us stops our contact and triggers our notice to the contractors. Because each contractor is an independent business holding its own consent record, telling them directly is faster, and if you ask, we will tell you exactly which firms received your request so you know who to contact.

6. Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies with your project and how many contractors respond. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Neither we nor the contractors reimburse carrier charges.

7. If something goes wrong

If you are contacted after revoking consent, or by someone who is not one of the contractors we told you about, we want to know. Email privacy@commercialsecurityquotes.com with the number that contacted you and roughly when. Contractors who ignore revocations are removed from the network.
